We deliver complete solutions and serve as a partner to our clients. This means in practice that we assist with everything from planning and design, to installation and assembly. Our engineers present drawings. Together with our clients we agree on the details and a timetable for the project. We put together a team of technicians with the right skills for the project and build the furnace on location at the client’s site.

Refractory materials
We provide complete refractory solutions to the heavy industry. The finished product is often a furnace or a boiler that must resist extreme temperatures. This type of project is almost entirely found within the heavy steel and metal industry which places extremely high demands on security, safety and sustainability. We have wellestablished contacts with several leading material producers. Therefore, we can offer refractory products of the highest quality and a broad product range with attractive prices.
Acid-proof materials
We also deliver complete solutions for acid-proof applications. Our linings withstand highly corrosive acids in an extremely unfriendly environment. For these projects, the same high standards of safety, security and sustainability apply as for refractory solutions. Also in this segment, we have well established contacts with materials producers which in turn allows us to offer cost-effective solutions to our clients.

Prefab Production
In our workshop in Ängelholm, we prefabricate larger parts or modules for later assembly. We specialize in the manufacture of molded modules in all possible formats. We use modern mixing and vibration equipment. Drying of the modules takes place in a furnace programmed according to a drying cycle depending on the materials used. Prefab production can often be more efficient and significantly contribute to a project being implemented more cost-effectively. The choice of prefabrication or not, ultimately depends on the characteristics of the project and of course our customers demands. The time factor is an important parameter that often determine whether or not we prefab different parts of the final installation.
Installation
Megamet has over the years established connections with personnel who possesses expertise in the industry. We handpick staff for specific projects and applications. Our bricklaying department is specialized in refractory installations for all types of applications and solutions. We use top notch and partially unique materials, which are under constant control and development. Technical know-how, combined with talented professionals, guarantees the best results possible.
Documentation
Refractory ceramic and semi-ceramic materials are consumables with different life spans. Planning of repairs and maintenance is therefore of utmost importance. With our documentation, work becomes easier and more cost-effective. Planning with correct documentation facilitates the ordering of fire- and acid-proof materials for various kinds of repairs. We provide monitoring, documentation and reporting of repairs and maintenance for all our projects.

Warehouse
At our HQ in Angelholm you also find our warehouse. They provide our customers with extra security. If something needs to be repaired, we always have materials ready and available in inventory. Speed and flexibility allows our customers to minimize damage in case of a breakdown, which otherwise means costly downtime. Our warehouse and their swift action has saved and eliminated many difficult situations.
Service/Maintenance
Our commitment does not end with a finished product. Service/maintenance is a natural and integrated part of our projects. We carry out regular maintenance on plants to make sure they function optimally. With our service counteracting damage and failure, we generate lower maintenance costs in the long term. In emergency situations, for example in case of a crash or the like, we have the staff in place already within 2-24 hours.
